Why We Gave Coconut To Police Officers & Had A Heartwarming Moment In Person With A Listener

Feel Good Project day 48

I am discovering how rare it is to have both a FEEL GOOD day BOTH physically and emotionally. In my opinion, one usually outweighs the other.

Today the best of the two was the emotional side of things-the stuff that truly feeds the SOUL. It was THAT kind of a day.

Started out beautifully early with a trip to our favorite Bergman Family Chiropractic to get our weekly adjustments with Dr. John DeWitt. That alone makes me feel like a million bucks upon leaving. Sets the tone usually for the rest of my day.

We were blessed enough with today being a double adjustment day, and with the suggested two hour wait in between visits, we hit up the health food store for some green juices. As if the day couldn’t already have been any better right!?

So while we were waiting for our juices, both Justin and I were impressed with these two young Huntington Beach policemen that were super into ordering amazing green drinks that were good for their livers (we overheard them asking for extra ingredients that detoxify!) The reason they stood out to us is because of the stereotype we all put cops into: coffee and donut shop kind of guys, usually a bit overweight and out to pull us over and slap us with speeding tickets or other dramas.

It was so refreshing to see these men taking such great care of themselves. They also seemed so so nice.

We all got our juices around the same time and then we jumped in line behind them to check out with our other items as well. We plopped our packets of frozen coconut cream down on the counter, and both guys mentioned they had never seen that before and were curious how it tasted, what we used it for and where they could find it.

When we told them we used it for both smoothies as well as chia seed pudding, their eyes lit up. We could tell that sealed the deal and now they were hooked.

After a few moments of chitchat, we wished them a good day and they left ahead of us while we checked out.

When we reached our car, there were out in the parking lot just drinking their juices and enjoying a break and Justin and I BOTH were hit at the same time to give our coconut cream away to these strangers turned friends.

Justin walked over and handed each a packet and thanked them for their service to the community and told them how much they would love trying this stuff! I saw them both shake his hand as giant smiles spread across their faces. It was one of those magical Christmas moments where the world felt right.

Even though we are by no means rolling in money, we didn’t once second guess the hunch we both had-we just acted on it and it felt AMAZING.

Man, if feeling good is what it’s all about-this is the fastest track back to that place. Just give and give and give as you step out of the way. Doesn’t matter what time, energy or cost is involved…it will all be there when you listen and follow the calling.

WE were the blessed ones though that, even though we know hey feel like they were.

We arrived back at Dr Bergman only to find that a friend/listener of Extreme Health Radio we hadn’t met yet, had found Dr Bergman through our show and flew in from Hawaii for treatment! When he mentioned to the wonderful staff up front how he had originally heard about this miraculous work through our show, he was informed that we were actually there right then as well, in a different room!

It was a TRUE honor to meet our new friend Tom today. He blessed our hearts with so much love, support and encouragement. At one point there seemed to almost be tears of thankfulness for the work we are doing.

TODAY was one of those days where again and again we are reminded that we are doing exactly what we should be doing, no matter how difficult it can still be at times to trust this process.

My gut not so great today, but my heart more than FULL.

You know the cool thing though? (well, besides this whole stinking cool day!?) I went to my good friend’s gorgeous annual holiday party tonight and as I was driving there I was reflecting back to the last year when I attended this soiree.

HOLY MOLY was I ever in a different place.

Change seems to happen ever so slow on a day to day basis but when I looked back on the year-my goodness how much has changed.

Last year’s party I remember I was fasting and couldn’t eat or drink a thing. I recall my organs literally ACHING and just wanting to go home as I felt like dying. I remember holding a hot tea mug to keep my clammy hands warm even though I couldn’t drink even the herbal tea without having a reaction. I positioned the mug in a way that hid my left thumb as the strange growths I had starting to seriously taking over my hands made me feel insecure.

Tonight: was able to have two tiny sips of champagne (even though it was not the best choice-this was my ONE holiday party this year!) while holding a flute with sparkly bubbles with hands FREE of all evidence of skin problems! Even though I couldn’t eat any of the beautiful creamy desserts, I was beyond GRATEFUL to be able to have conversations without my organs reminding me it was time to leave.

I realized my LIFE had returned more than I think it has at times.

MIRACULOUS if you ask me.

FEEL GOOD MOMENT OF THE DAY: Knowing this is all going to work. 🙂
