What’s Currently In Our Refrigerator

our-refridgerator-featured-imageI don’t know why this is but we’ve had quite a few people recently ask us what we eat. I thought it was odd that people want to know what we actually consume on a daily basis. Then I got to thinking about it. If I were listening to a show like ours and felt like I knew the hosts it would be kind of cool to see what’s inside their refrigerator.

So here you go. You can scroll down and see the pictures below.

Let me preface it by saying that there are animal products in the refrigerator. Every now and then we get people emailing in thinking we’re still raw vegan. Even though we’ve dropped all labels we are still very partial to the immense benefits that can come from the raw vegan diet.

Personally I feel like eating a raw vegan diet for a while could be helpful for people who want to raise their frequency and vibration of the foods coming into their bodies.

People in our culture merely think of macro nutrients like fats, carbohydrates and protein when it comes to nutrition. Most people are also very worried about calories. Rarely do people consider the micronutrients in food. You won’t hear many people talking about what minerals a food has or if there’s phytic acids or oxalic acid in food. Minerals and vitamins are rarely talked about when it comes to food.

But on a deeper level, people never really talk about the electrical potential of food. You see what feeds our cells from food is light, photons and biophotonic energy that gets created when bacteria in our gut poop out what we use for energy.

Heck most nutritionists aren’t going to tell you anything about that.

Raw and living food contains this energy more than most any other food.

Kate and I are not perfect and don’t pretend to live up to some unattainable standard. We’re humans just like you.

Although I did have one guy once who accused us of being sellouts that are reptillian in nature. That’s a story for another day…

As you can see in our refrigerator we have lots of foods we love.

Here’s a few highlights of our refrigerator from top shelf to bottom shelf and then the side door.

  • Pickled garlic in curry
  • Aloe vera blended with chia seeds
  • Sauerkruat with garlic
  • Organic grass fed ghee
  • Fresh cabbage
  • Juicing greens
  • Rejuvilac
  • Brocolli sprouts
  • Celery for juicing
  • Young thai coconuts
  • Coffee for enemas
  • 3% Food grade hydrogen peroxide
  • Milk kefir
  • Red palm oil
  • Organic pastures raw butter
  • Free range organic eggs
  • Avocados and aloe vera leaves
  • Chia seeds
  • Almonds
  • Ground flax seeds
  • Left over MMS
  • Kombucha
  • Hemp seeds
  • And some other items…

I’m not sharing these photos to brag or get you to eat the same way we do. Maybe some of you eat more meat than we do and have a refrigerator filled with all different kinds of meats.

Perhaps some of you don’t have any animal products in your refrigerator and have only superfoods and plants. And maybe some of you have lots of processed foods from the regular super market.

There’s no judgement here. I figured we’d just share with you guys what we’re doing. Our diets change quite a bit and we like to try new foods all the time so the next time you see our refrigerator there might be all different kinds of foods in there.

Kate and I are still on our journey to figure out what diet works well for us right now. We don’t think we’ve got it all figured out by any means. And as soon as we do crack the diet code, our bodies will require something completely different so it won’t even matter.

Health and nutrition seems to be a moving target.

The principles I know are healthy are organic, fresh, ripe, whole and high raw. Raw can mean meats or plants depending on your preference, but in my opinion the less cooked food we eat the better. On the flip side, I do think we need some cooked foods like bone broths and perhaps some meats if that resonates with you.

Whatever food you’re eating should be at the very least organic. And by fresh I mean consumed not long after it has been picked. This isn’t easy unless you’re growing the food yourself which I HIGHLY recommend.

Just because you pick it doesn’t mean it’s ripe. Most grocery store chains have the fruits and vegetables picked sometimes months before it ever makes it into the stores. The food must be vine ripened. If it gets ripe off the vine you’re missing out on lots of nutrition.

For what it’s worth, we hope this helps to give you a little bit of an idea as to what Kate and I are eating right now.
