Today was a day where we had another guest scheduled but it didn’t work out like we had planned.

These things happen.

We actually started off the show talking to each other about what we do when our plans change. We talked about living in the flow.

Back in the day it took a lot for me to get over not having things happened the way I wanted or planned. I was attached to outcomes. I was attached to my ability to control and manipulate situations to turn out the way I wanted.

Do you feel like that?

As I’ve gotten older I’ve been able to live in the flow more and realize everything is in flux and everything is changing all the time, every second.

So after that we talked about whether or not we actually die because we all think we will die. We explored that idea a little bit. I find it fascinating because what if nobody believed in death, would the body not go through cell death on a fundamental level? It’s almost impossible to think about what it would be like if we didn’t have such a thing as death.

Interesting concept to explore further on your own.

We also talked about fire walking (walking on burning coals with bare feet) and how people don’t get burned. Is it simply just mind over matter? Can we change or at least alter our physical universe based on our beliefs? I surmise during the show that I probably don’t have enough faith to believe I could walk on fiery coals without being burned.

Does that mean I don’t have enough faith to heal my body if I were to get sick?

Things to ponder I guess.

We also discussed the whole idea of how man (according to Christian thought) “has dominion over the earth”, whatever that means. We explore the idea of environmentalism and if people take it too far or not.
