First of all I wanted to apologize to you the amazing listeners for the lack of shows lately. Kate and I were originally planning on going to Italy for 2 weeks with my family. At the last moment we had to call off the trip so we were left without shows for a couple of weeks.
But don’t worry we’re going to be coming back with full force. Since our website crashed a few weeks ago we’ve been really struggling to catch up on everything. When I first started this show I didn’t realize I was creating a beast. I love every minute of it, it’s just that at this stage we’re basically a one man show so when I do one thing everything else takes a back seat. So I apologize.
Right now my mom does the transcribing, Kate helps with being on the show and then I’m doing everything else. We’ve been going for 1 year now and it’s been nothing short of incredible. The emails we receive from you guys are life changing. What a blessing to do what you love to do and help others in the process.
So bear with us! We’re doing our best. In the future we’ll hire some staff to help us stay on top of things a little better! 🙂
We started off this show a little silly I have to apologize. These Free For All Friday shows are fun for us because we get to talk about life and things in a more casual way. Obviously the shows are always going to be about health, human potential, success and opening our minds to create a better world but we get to sort of “mess around” a bit on Friday so we hope you enjoy it.
We talked a bit about a really great cookbook we’ve bee making some things from lately called Against All Grain by Danielle Walker. There are so many amazing recipes in that book. We’ve made the brownies in there as well as the chocolate chip cookies (which I didn’t do well with for some reason – I suspect it was because of the nuts) and a few others.
As you know I’m a big fan of The Raw Chef Program by Russell James as well as the program called How To Ferment Anything and The Real Food Program. Learning how to make healthy food that is going to nourish you is one of the most important skills you could ever master. Whether you’re raw vegan, paleo or anything in between we must learn the most basic of all skills, how to cook and prepare food.
We also talked about many other subjects on today’s show. There are too many things we talked about that I can cover in this brief show description. You can check below to learn about all the different links we discussed.
We hope you enjoy our show and please don’t forget to comment below!
