This was our very first video podcast and I want to know what you guys think. We are going to be working on the video. I’m not happy with the graininess and the choppiness of it but other than that I hope it turned out well.
With that said we talked about how to avoid crazy diet trends as well as talked about how we shouldn’t judge people for what they eat. Kate and I share a little of our journey of health and how we got to where we are today.
It has been a long journey and we have learned a lot. I’ve gone from a 100% raw food vegan for 7 years to eating a more holistic diet lately including animal products like, meat, dairy (primarily grass fed raw butter and ghee), bee products and other animal products like whey protein and much more.
We really went deep and questioned why we are even living this healthy lifestyle to begin with in the first place? Is it based on fear? Are we afraid of dying from cancer or having our family members or loved ones die from a heart attack?
Why are we holding on to this way of eating and living? When you really question your motives it becomes a really powerful thing. All motivation comes from love or fear when you get down to it.
So questioning your motives is something I would encourage all of us to do more often.
