Day #12 - Dissolving Your Emotional Stress
Hello friends!
How are you holding up for Day #12? We're almost done friends. I realized yesterday's challenge of getting off medications was small but massive if you're able to do it.
Today's challenge is similarly hard and it has to do with emotions.
Did you know that many diseases have to do with unresolved emotions that get trapped in your body? Sickness, disease and health ultimately is an invisible process of things that are going on that we cannot measure using science.
Are you currently holding a grudge? Are you angry at a lover, a parent, family member or friend? How do you feel when you think about what they did to you?
You feel tight, restricted and filled with anger towards them right? We've all been there. Today's challenge has to do with first understanding that there is a direct relationship between illness and unresolved emotional issues.
Instructions: Dissolve your emotional Stress - It's time to finally get rid of your emotional baggage. This is easier said then done, but there are powerful techniques available to help you through this process. The goal should be to completely dissolve an emotional charge to the point you no longer have any feelings but Love and Gratitude. There are several techniques you can utilize to achieve this such as Prayer, Meditation, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and the Demartini Breakthrough Method. That last one is my favorite and it's where the term Dissolving emotions came from. Day #11 - Get Off Your Medications
Hi again!
Today is Day #11. Today's challenge is not something you can complete in one day but something where we're challenging you to make the first step today.
It's getting off your pharmaceutical medications. I realize you should NEVER quit cold turkey or make these decisions yourself without working with your doctor.
According to the Washington Post 3 in 5 Americans (probably the same in most all Western nations) are on a prescription drug of some kind.
We are not a healthy people. Our population is so sick, they need to be propped up by synthetic drugs.
So today's task is to find 5 minutes here or 5 minutes there and do a little bit of research about the medication you're on. Then make a phone call to your doctor and schedule an appointment to talk to him or her about coming up with a systemic approach to gradually weaning off of them over time.
Make sure to work with your doctor on a practical plan of at least diminishing your current medicines, if you can.
Find out what lifestyle factors need to be altered in order to make this transition process easier.
Invest in you.
You're worth it.

Day #10 - Plant Based Living
Hello!
The Extreme Health Challenge is almost over. After today there's only 4 days left!
Making healthy choices is really easy and yet sometimes it's the easy things that are most challenging.
Today I want you to think about the food you eat, is it organic? Just so we're clear, organic food isn't the *most* optimal. It only means that they didn't spray it with chemicals.
But...
It's those chemicals that can put an incredible amount of stress to every organ system in the body. Your immune system is always working when we constantly expose our body to toxins and chemicals.
Eventually your immune system just wears out over time.
People sometimes say, "Buying organic food is so expensive! I could only buy 1/4 the amount of food if we buy organic."
Every journey begins with one step. The old saying goes, "The less you eat, the longer you live." So you're much healthier eating less organic food than eating more non organic food.
Instructions: Start by making one completely organic plant based meal today. Or go to the grocery store and buy one organic item and post a picture of it! If you're already on an organic diet then your challenge is to make a green juice or smoothie with that organic produce! Day #9 - Reduce Toxicity When Driving
Hello!
Today is Day #9! How is the challenge going so far for you? I hope great!
Okay today I want to talk a little bit about toxicity in the air we breathe, especially in our cars. Does your car have that new car smell?
Cars can be very dangerous because of these 3 reasons...
1. Glass blocks all UV light which helps heal us
2. Cars produce very high magnetic and electric fields
3. Cars are not grounded (although there are ways to ground them)
4. Cars (especially new ones) off gas a huge amount of chemical toxicity
So today I want you to do some things that will make driving a little less of a burden on your body.
Instructions: Learn how to ground your car, open the windows while driving to get full spectrum sun on your body and reduce toxicity from offgassing and consider getting some EMF protection to wear while you're driving.. Use the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge and show us what you're doing!

Day #8 - Upgrade Your Furniture
Hi friends!
Day #8 we're more than halfway done!!
Something we don't think about is the amount of toxins that are in our funiture.
These chemicals are constantly off gassing and poisoning the air we breathe in our homes.
This is putting a constant stress on our immune system. Our immune system never gets a break and is constantly trying to create new white blood cells in order to kill these pathogenic invaders.
Your immune system is working overtime trying to deal with these toxins when it should be focused on killing potential cancer cells in our bodies.
Our health is like a teeter totter we rode when we were kids. It's not one thing that's destroying our lives, it's the accumulation of many things that are wearing us down.
Eventually one more toxic exposure tips the balance and our body can't stay on top of any of them any longer.
It's like the death of a thousand cuts. It isn't one single cut that kills us, it's the accumulation of hundreds of them.
Let's clean up our furniture inside our homes.
Instructions: Most furniture nowadays is made with subtly toxins ingredients that can slowly make you very sick over a long period of time. Consider going through your house and switching out the factory made furniture which usually contains harmful chemicals for furniture that's made of organic, natural materials. Day #7 - Clean Your Cubboards
Hello again!,
Today is Day #7 my friends I hope you're enjoying this health challenge!
It's really important to make sure that all the cleaning products you have in your home aren't harming your health.
It's counterproductve to make a bunch of great decisions when it comes to the food you eat, but expose you and your family to toxic chemicals in your cleaning supplies.
Here are 8 toxic chemicals that are most prevalent in our cleaning products.
1. Phthalates
2. Perchloroethylene or “PERC”
3. Triclosan
4. Quarternary Ammonium Compounds, or “QUATS”
5. 2-Butoxyethanol
6. Ammonia
7. Chlorine
8. Sodium Hydroxide
These chemicals cause so much stress and inflammation to your body and really break us down at the cellular level.
We need to replace them with healthier alternatives. We like a brand called Force of Nature which you can search Google for. There are many brands out there that are making much healthier versions of toxic clearning products we've grown up with.
Instructions: Go through your cupboards and closets to find any toxic cleaning supplies. Most of the popular brands are incredibly toxic and some can have devastating effects on your body over time. Throw away all toxic cleaning products. Use hashtage #ExtremeHealthChallenge.

Day #6 - Ditch The Chemicals
Hi again!
We're humming right along for day #6 of this challenge. How are you going so far?
Your kitchen is the most important area of your home. If you want to start the path of success, you have to design a life that fascilitates what you're going after.
You can have all the desire and discipline you want but if the structure and foundation of how you live day to day do not support your desired outcome, unfortunately you're setup for failure.
This is why you absolutely must do an overhaul of your kitchen. Your home should be a place of healing, not where you get sicker.
Everything in your home should be helping support this new healthy life you're now living. Bad food in your home is bad energy and eventually during a time of low dopamine levels, you will give in.
Instructions: Go through your entire kitchen to find anything that contains harmful ingredients. If you can't pronounce an ingredient then it probably doesn't belong in your body. A good rule is to not consume anything that comes in a package unless it's mother nature's package like an orange peel. :)

Day #5 - Ditch The Junk Food
Hello again!
Today is Day #5 my friends. We're almost half way there!
Okay poor food choices are a huge reason why we are so sick today. With every poor food choice, you're literally causing the disease process to fester in your body.
Our DNA is a gift. Let's not trash it by making decisions that will cause a disease to begin in our body.
Who are you doing this for? Why do you want to be healthy? Is it to lose a few pounds? Is it to overcome a disease?
Or is it to become the fullest expression of who you were meant to be on this planet? Or maybe you want to give birth to a new type of human who will help wake people up and change the world.
Believe it or not, it all starts with how we live our lives, what kind of environment we live in (mentally and physically) and what we allow into our temple.
Let's upgrade our choices today.
Instructions: Ditch the Junk Food - Even very clean, healthy eaters can sometimes give in to temptation and everyone has their one food vice whether it's a cheeseburger or a donut. Ditch that toxic and terrible food and start looking for a healthy alternative. If you like cheeseburgers then go to an organic market, purchase all the ingredients and make yourself a healthy cheeseburger. If you like donuts, then get organic ingredients and fry your donuts in coconut oil which tastes amazing.

Day #4 - Find A Healthy Alternative To Coffee, Soda Or Alcohol
Hi friends!
Okay today is Day #4 how are you holding up?
Coffee, soda and alcohol are the 3 substances people are addicted to like crazy and they put such a burden on the body.
What we want to do is reduce inflammation, lower stress and cortisol levels and basically get out of the way because our body always wants to heal.
Our body only heals to the extent that we get out of its way to allow it to do so.
Roughly 83% of Americans drink coffee every day.
48% of Americans have at least 1 soda per day.
52% of people above age 35 are considered regular drinkers in 1 study.
These substances are okay on occasion but don't let them run your life.
Instructions: An Alternative for Soda, Coffee, and Alcohol- These are the big 3 that most people are addicted to and unfortunately even if you're consuming organic versions of these products they're still not very good for you on a regular basis. Find a healthier alternative that works for you such as kombucha for soda, maca for coffee, and organic wine (resveratrol) or alcoholic kombucha. Day #3 - Develop A Water Strategy
Hello again friends!
Day #3!
Water is the key to life. Water makes up 93% of our blood plasma and it's what allows ourselves to cleanse and detoxify. It also allows us to carry a proper DC electric voltage in our body and carries light to our mitochondria in order to make enough ATP.
Water is absolutely huge.
Are you drinking enough water? What kind of water are you drinking? If you do not have a filter on your home, I highly encourage you to get one so you can start drinking high quality water as much as you can.
Most tap water, or tap liquid contains fluoride, chlorine and homeopathic residues of chemotherapy and pharmaceutical drugs.
When I wake up I drink about 1 full mason jar of water before I do anything else. During the rest of the day I drink two more full mason jars (not counting juices or teas).

Okay today I want to focus on solutions. For every problem there is a solution and like the famous saying goes, we live in the best of times and the worst of times.
Today is the best because there are more solutions now than ever!
Identify the Solutions - Get a blank paper, separate into 3 columns just like Day 1. Using your list from Day 1, write a solution, replacement, or healthier alternatives for every single stressor.
Pretty easy right? It might take a few moments to do but it's going to be so worth it. Just knowing what's stressing your body is key, but when you can use your creative mind to think of solutions, it's like God and the Universe are conspiring together in your favor.

Okay we believe ultimately stress on the human body is what ultimately creates disease. Stress can come in many ways.
The 3 main ways we endure stress are physical, chemical and emotional stress.
So for today's challenge, here's what I want you to do...
Write down on a piece of paper 3 columns
Physical
Chemical
Emotional
List as many different stressors in the past or current ones for each category.

Hi guys! We're so excited to be creating these monthly health challenges for all of you (and for us) so we can all get healthy together as a group....and win prizes as well!! Who doesn't love that? :) This is the first time we've ever done anything like this and as with most things "tech related" there can be issues.
