Dr. Chad Edwards joined us from Revolution Health & Wellness to discuss his journey into natural health and alternative healing.
He’s quite a fascinating guy and you can tell he’s incredibly passionate about the work that he does. There are just too many people out there suffering with certain sicknesses or illnesses that don’t need to be suffering.
It’s my contention that the majority of disease can be prevented with proper diet and lifestyle choices.
Being healthy really is so easy. Eat whole, organic food. Drink water, exercise, breathe, sleep and be happy. If you can be really good at these fundamental things, you’ll enjoy robust health all the years of your life.
In today’s show Dr. Chad talks about skin care and how to take care of your skin. He says there are 4 things that cause skin damage, aging and wrinkles.
The most ironic thing is that the first three were internal bodily processes and the last one (which most people would put as #1) was an external process that happens which is too much sun exposure.
Your skin is the largest organ of your body and its health is mostly determined by what we eat, and what we think. We’ve all had times when stress has caused us to break out and have rashes.
So what we eat and think is mostly what’s responsible for good skin health.
We also talked about genetic testing (like the 23andme.com MTHFR) and more.
Lastly we discussed how important collagen is for the skin and joints. He does lots of prolotherapy on people with joints that are worn down with things like osteo-arthritis.

He completed residency at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, N.C. and is board certified in Family Medicine.
