Day #13 - Full Spectrum Sunlight
Hey again!
People don't realize how important it is to get full spectrum sunlight (without sunglasses on) on your skin and in your eyes. Obviously don't stare at the sun but allowing the biophotons into your eyes helps to create melatonin.
That's right!
You actually create melatonin IN your eyes IN the daytime. There are receptors in our eyes called opsins that set the eye clock which determines all the other clocks in your body, namely your immune systems and your endocrine system.
The sun is healing. The sun is what gives us life. The sun is what sets our circadian rhythms. Wear as little clothing as possible (sunlight on your private parts is ideal) or wear Kiniki shorts or Cool Tan swimwear to get those biophotons onto your privates!
Remember don't wear sunscreen and you'll have an even better result if you ground to the earth while you're getting sun on your skin and in your eyes.

Day #12 - Foods To Avoid!

Day 12 What foods to avoid!
The main takeaway is to make sure all the produce you buy is organic and ideally coming froma local farm and eaten in season.
The most ideal situation actually is growing food that's protected from acid rain, chemtrails and environmental pollutions in the air and the non NPK soil has been remineralized with rock dust, ocean minerals, compost and manuer.
But sometimes we have to buy our fruits and veggies from the local store.
Here's the dirty dozen that you ABSOLUTELY must buy organic...
celery

domestic blueberries

spinach, kale and collard greens

Here's the clean 15 which have little to no traces of pesticides...

Day #11 - Food Storage!
Hi Friends!
Today is Day #11 can you believe we're almost done?
We're expanding on Day #6 a little bit further. What we store our food in is vitally important.
Remember the warmer the food the quicker you need to transfer it to a healthier container.
Here are three substances you want to avoid if possible...
Styrofoam
Plastic
Canned foods
These chemicals and heavy metals offgass from the containers and land on the food inside of them. Then we consume these foods along with the chemicals and heavy metals.
Our bodies now have to process these toxins. They highly disrupt your hormone and endocrine system.
Remember the master switches that run everything are the hormone system. Once you optimize your hormones magically everything seems to work again!
Start by transferring all food items to glass.
Instructions: Go to Amazon, or The Container Store or even Craigslist and shop for glass food containers and buy as many different shapes and sizes as you can. Did you know that toxins, chemicals and heavy metals leach into your food when you cook at high temperatures?
Heavy metal exposure has a tremendous affect on our hormonal and endocrine systems. Some symptoms may include..

Day #9 - Healthy Fats
Hey again!
Today is Day #9! How is the challenge going so far for you? I hope great!
Healthy fats...
We were sold a lie years ago that fat is bad and that eating fat can turn into fat on your body. Actually the body has no way of doing that.
What makes us fat are consuming too many carbohydrates creating a stress response in the body.
In fact sugar causes an inflammatory response inside our arteries which can lead to heart disease and high cholesterol levels.
Remember cholesterol isn't to blame either for heart attacks. Just because cholesterol is present doesn't mean it's responsible for them.
We need cholesterol to live. Every cell membrane in the body has a double lipid layer comprised of healthy fat.
Without healthy fats in your diet, your hormones will suffer. For those that have gone on a low fat diet, you know what we're talking about.
So let's get more healthy fats into our day!

Day #8 - Goal Setting And Your Hormones
Hey friends!
Day #8 we're more than halfway done!!
Without purpose there's no need to build healthy testosterone levels (yes women need testosterone too!) that help you feel motivated and inspired and ready to conquer the world.
We need to reconnect with our purpose and find out what really makes us tick? What makes you tick? What gets you excited?
Reconnecting with that thing that really makes us happy or gives us purpose sends a signal to our mitochondria and hormonal system to create the dopamine and testosterone to fulfill that desire.

Day #7 - Water And Your Hormones
Hi friends!
Today is Day #7 my friends I hope you're enjoying this health challenge!
70% of our bodies are water and most of the water that comes into us is not even from drinking, it's from bathing and showering in poor quality water.
Municipal city water is loaded with acids, chloride, chlorine, and chloramine along with homeopathic pharmaceutical residues of medications, chemotherapy, and other chemicals and drugs people are on.
Even rain water is way too acidic. Google: Acid rain and statues in google images to see what rain water does to statues. It's doing this to your bones and calcifying your endocrine systems which run our hormones.
Water is more important than food. In fact it's critical we drink clean water in order to survive.
So what do we do?
We need to filter the water we drink. I use a similar system to Dr. Bergmans but we also have a whole house filter plus an RO system (Omica Organics) AND a Berkey.
Invest in yourself by investing in the water your drink and put on your skin.
Make it a mantra and an affirmation...."I only drink and bathe in the healthiest water ever" and start saving for some good home water system.

Day #6 - How Food Packaging Is Destroying Your Hormones
Hey friends!
We're humming right along for day #6 of this challenge. How are you going so far?
No matter how healthy the food you buy is, we have to ask ourselves what is it packaged in?
Even organic food can be loaded with toxins if it's stored in plastic. These plastics break down in high heat temperatures and leach into the food itself.
The chemicals in plastics are xenoestrogens which adversely affect your thyroid gland preventing the proper secretion and production of hormones into our glands and tissues.
You want to avoid plastics at all costs and avoid having them in or around your food.
Plus plastic is bad for the planet.
Instructions: Buy some glass mason jars or big glass containers today so that you have options for storing your food. Then start migrating the food you eat into those glass containers. When you're finished upload a photo of it to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #extremehealthchallenge. Day #5 - Dairy - Should You Consume It?
Hey again friends!
Whether you consume it raw, unpasteurized, organic, grass fed or anything else, dairy should not be a major part of your diet.
Personally I do some organic, grass fed ghee from time to time but it's definitely not a staple.
Why?
First humans are not meant to drink the milk of other mammals. Just because we can doesn't mean we should. That milk is intended for the baby calf.
Always side with nature.
Also because animal foods are higher up on the food chain, not only do they bioaccumulate more toxins in their tissues in greater amounts than plants, but it's more concentrated too.
Lastly there's the hormone issue...even with organic. Look at all the hormone related cancers these days, thyroid, testicular, ovarian, breast etc. These are all endocrine related hormonal cancers.
Let's work at avoiding soy and dairy.
What if you have it in your refrigerator?
Either dump it out or use it and don't buy any more.
Here's what you should do...
Instructions: Go to your local health food store and buy some raw organic nuts and soak them to make some high quality nut milk and take a picture of it. Or buy some dairy alternative like Dr. Bergman mentions in today's video and take a photo of it.

Okay today is Day #4 how are you holding up?
Meat....should you eat it? And if so, how much?
Depends on what you mean by meat.
Meat can be
Grass fed
Grass finished
Organic
Free range
Raw or cooked (if cooked boiled or charred)
Organ meats vs muscle meat
Wild vs store bought
As you can see meat can mean a lot of things.
But even if you have the healthiest meat on the planet and prepare it the right way, because of environmental toxicity overload, meat (if eaten at all) should be consumed once per week or once per month maximum.
Personally I try to avoid meats in general but I do consume these "animal products" more often than I eat meat...

There are more chemicals in the average American bathroom than there was in the average American hospital 200 years ago.
All of these chemicals we put on our skin, become us. They literally soak into our skin and cause massive amounts of inflammation and endocrine disruption in our bodies....namely our thyroid gland.
These chemicals are altering how not just how our genes get expressed but by conversions of testosterone to estrogen.
The amount of hormonal related cancers is on the rise.
We need to get these chemicals out of our lives.

Day #2 - Your Toxic Home & Hormones
Hi again!
Today is day #2 of the hormone challenge. Are you excited? I hope so!
Today is all about endocrine disruptors in the form of chemicals and toxins that are in our home. Did you know that most beds have carcinogenic flame retardant chemicals that off gas for 8 hours you sleep each night?
Carpets are loaded with xenoestrogens and hormone mimickers that radically disrupt your thyroid and adrenal glands.
The chemicals in the average home are incredibly toxic not just to our hormones but our digestion and other organs like our livers and brain.
What do we do? Ideally we would live in a completely chemical free, toxin free and mold free home.
But since that's not the case the first place we start with are the areas we spend the most time in. Usually that means the bedroom and office (if you work from home for example).
What can you do?
Turn off wifi
Get indoor plants
Swap out toxic cleaners with baking soda and vinegar
Open doors to let fresh air in
Diffuse essential oils
Get an air purifier
Here's a list of 6 plants that help clean indoor air
Bamboo Palm: It removes formaldahyde and is also said to act as a natural humidifier.
Snake Plant: It absorb nitrogen oxides and formaldahyde.
Areca Palm: One of the best air purifying plants for general air cleanliness.
Spider Plant: Great indoor plant for removing carbon monoxide and other toxins or impurities. Spider plants are one of three plants NASA deems best at removing formaldahyde from the air.
Peace Lily: Peace lilies could be called the “clean-all.” They’re often placed in bathrooms or laundry rooms because they’re known for removing mold spores. Also know to remove formaldahyde and trichloroethylene.
Gerbera Daisy: Not only do these gorgeous flowers remove benzene from the air, they’re known to improve sleep by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving off more oxygen over night.

Day #1 - Hormones And Your Emotions
Hi friends!
Today is Day #1 are you ready to improve your hormones in 14 days?
Mastering your emotional state to radically affect your hormones.
If we want be the embodiment of our birthright we must reprogram our subconscious mind.
How do we do that?
We do it through repetition and feeling the emotions behind affirmations. We must will ourselves a new life. It must be forged out of our own desires. This new life is something we already have but we must peel back that which is hindering us from its full manifestion in our lives.
So...
Today's Task...
Make a list of 3 areas of your life to work on. Notice I said work on, not change. You already are everthing you need to be and perfect. We just work on these areas to bring forth that which is hidden.
A good example of 3 areas might be...
Health
Wealth
Happiness
Write down at least 1 affirmation for each of these areas of your life and commit it to memory. When you repeat it, say it aloud, with emotion in the correct posture like Dr. Bergman expalins in today's video.

Introduction To The Challenge!
Welcome to the May 2018 14 day Extreme Health Challenge! This health challenge is going to focused on improving the health and vitality of your hormones.
Each day will consist of a specific task you must complete (and share with your friends on social media) in order to gain more entries for this challenge.

Hi guys! We're so excited to be creating these monthly health challenges for all of you (and for us) so we can all get healthy together as a group....and win prizes as well!! Who doesn't love that? :) This is the first time we've ever done anything like this and as with most things "tech related" there can be issues. We're working hard on resolving all these issues so the monthly challenges will only get better and better as we go through 2018 together.

How The Challenge Works!
