I’ve been somebody who has consitantly worked out in a gym since I was about 22 years old. It’s just a part of who I am. I love the intensity and feeling of getting pumped in the gym. I don’t recommend long distance or endurance type exercising at all. I believe it creates too much cortisol and stress on the body, not to mention free radical damage. Plus I’ve never really liked that kind of training. If I did, I’m sure I’d find a way to justify doing it. 😉

I think part of being healthy is working out your muscles. It’s a small part but often over looked in the certain health communities. Many paleo people do crossfit, which I think if done right can be very beneficial. On the otherhand I notice that many raw vegans do yoga and things like Tai Chi. These are very yin exercises where heavy weight lifting would be very yang. By yin I mean they draw energy into the body (Tai Chi, yoga, Qigong, The 5 Rites). Yang exercises deplete the body of energy. I believe we need a balance of both.

Recently somebody mentioned to me that they’d like me to talk about what my workout schedule has been lately. Initially I thought, why would people want to hear this? It’s not like I’ve achieved results that could get me on the cover of Muscle and Fitness. But since this person wasn’t the only one who asked me about the same thing I thought, what the hell why not?

So I’ll lay out my current workout schedule on a day to day basis in case you’re interested. Here she goes…

MONDAY
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed
20 minutes of stretching before bed
Maybe a walk on the beach with my wife if I can work that in

TUESDAY
Gym Workout – Heavy weights (3 to 5 reps, 5 sets) – Chest and Back
30 minutes of walking
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed
20 minutes of stretching before bed

WEDNESDAY
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed (starting soon!)
20 minutes of stretching before bed
1 hour heated yoga class
Maybe a walk on the beach with my wife if I can work that in

THURSDAY
Gym Workout – Heavy weights (3 to 5 reps, 5 sets) – Arms & Shoulders
30 minutes of walking
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed (starting soon!)
20 minutes of stretching before bed

FRIDAY
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed (starting soon!)
20 minutes of stretching before bed
1 hour heated yoga class
Maybe a walk on the beach with my wife if I can work that in

SATURDAY
Gym Workout – Heavy weights (3 to 5 reps, 5 sets) – Chest & Back with my torn ACL I can’t do legs 🙁
30 minutes of walking
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)
The 5 Rites before bed (starting soon!)
20 minutes of stretching before bed

SUNDAY
10 minutes of rebounding
10 minutes of Qigong (starting soon!)

Don & Carol Croft

This was a really fun interview. I loved what they had to say about their zappers and healing technology. It’s interesting because on one level there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence that these zappers really do work. On the other hand I myself have never seen proof. With that said, I really believe in them. I definitely feel something going on while wearing my Terminator 2 zapper. I do wish that it came with a clip or something to make it easier to strap to your body.

What did you think about Carol at the end talking about the cameras installed on the inside of all the new HD televisions? Wow that was strange. I had heard before about frequencies that can come through the wires and electrical outlets but cameras inside the TV’s? It’s a bit hard to believe but anything is possible. I figure the government and big corporations can’t be trusted so what’s to stop them from doing something like that?

Chris Wark

This interview was my favorite so far. I really love what Chris is up to and his passion to help people. We had a talk for about 45 minutes after we stopped recording the interview. Maybe he kept talking with me because he wanted to delay doing his business taxes! In any event, he’s up to some really great things and I stand behind his work 100%. He’s just a genuine guy out there sharing his story and trying to help people as much as he can.

What did you think about his thoughts on the pink ribbon “Run For the Cure” campaigns for breast cancer? That was pretty radical but I felt like it had to be said.
