This is an unbelievably tasting raw smoothie that I just love. A lot of my recipes I origonally got from Raw Food/Real World: 100 Recipes to Get the Glow but not this one.
For some reason, people don’t ever think of using an avocado in a smoothie. Sometimes I like to open them up and cube them and put all the cubes onto a plate in the freezer so when I make my smoothie, they make it nice and frosty without using ice cubes.
I make this raw cacao avocado smoothie a few times per week. Usually I’ll make it into a post workout protein shake and add some delicious vanilla Sun Warrior Protein Powder in it along with a few raw grass fed, free range organic eggs.
Just remember for the base you can use anything you like. Some people will use raw grass fed milk from Organic Pastures, rice milk or anything they have. Just remember to use the highest quality base as possible.
If you use water you may need to increase the amount of stevia powder and honey by double.
Base: 16 ounces of coconut milk, almond or any nut milk, water or kefir
