How A Chance Encounter With A Loyal Listener Gave Us Hope

VERY feel good day in my opinion!

Started out super weird with a power outage at 6:30 this morning, waking us up startled as our white noise machine and our bedroom fans all suddenly turned off, leaving so much silence that we jolted awake. Not the best way to greet the day, but got us up earlier than planned and we were able to get going sooner so that was a blessing in disguise:)

Because of the outage, our radio show was rescheduled to next week, which enabled Justin and I to go to our chiropractic with Dr. Dewitt at Dr Bergman’s office a bit earlier today.

And because we were able to go early today-a very cool, unexpected thing happened.

We were signing in for our appointments and we hear a voice say “Justin and Kate?”

Turning around, we met a face that looked unfamiliar but we felt like we should know him from somewhere. Was not the case. We had never ‘met’ before, but turns out Francis is a listener to our show! He said he’s been on his own health journey for a couple of years now, and he has learned so much from listening to Extreme Health radio.

Flattering and humbling.

He continued to thank us over and over for putting our hearts and souls into our work, and that in fact we are changing the world with the information we are getting out.

We met his beautiful daughter as well, and we were just thrilled by this encouragement to keep going!!!

Justin and I wondered if maybe one day someone would say they recognize us from our show, we just didn’t know when, if or how that day would arrive…and today just made our day!!! We felt so loved by the world through this meeting. We would have missed meeting Francis if it hadn’t been for he power outage situation rearranging our day.

So, THANK you Francis for making this day extra special. it’s people like you who make this possible.

FEEL GOOD MOMENT OF THE DAY: Pretty much all of the above. PLUS, the reminder of just HOW good we have it on a daily basis with things we take for granted like electricity, running water and options for healthy food at our fingertips.
