Kate and I had another great time on this Free For All Friday show discussing all manner of fun topics. I really love these shows we do together because I feel like there are lots of tid bits and things that I’ve chewed on from the previous week’s interviews.
In this case there wasn’t any shows in the week prior because we went to the Desert for 3 days and took the week off. We talked a little bit about how nice it is to stay in “vacation mode” and make our crazy lives more simple. Isn’t it nuts how much running around we do? It creates so much anxiety and stress in our lives. This low level, constant stress I believe contributes to disease.
You see anything that’s not natural in one form or other contributes in greater or lesser degrees to our ultimate demise. If we lived in a toxic free, chemical free and stress free environment, we might make it to 120 like the Bible says we should. Did you know that 120 was the age that God allegedly cursed us to live to? We’re currently falling 42 years shy of that “cursed” age. That’s amazing isn’t it? We’re doing something wrong in our society and in our lives. I’m not sure if it’s the food, the water, the air or the constant pollution we’re exposed to daily but something is cutting our lifespans short by over 40 years.
I’m convinced stress plays a huge role in that.
We also talked about what it truly means to be yourself regardless of what friends or family might think of you. We shared how this show is a great outlet to talk about topics we really enjoy and if people we knew listened to the show they’d learn things about us they never knew! We can’t control how other people think about us and really why should we care? We have one life so we might as well live it and make it sing. We ought to focus on helping as many people as we can and not giving a flying rip what other people thing of us!
Then we answered some listener questions about natural hair coloring, hair dyes and the dangers of putting chemicals on your scalp to color your hair. Then we talked about keeping good eye health and how cataracts might be caused by nano bacteria and excess “bad” calcium in the body. We talked about things like rebounding for eye health, avoiding cooked oils, taking in lots of anti oxidant rich foods like blue berries, black berries and goji berries.
We also talked about Liam Scheff and his thoughts about HIV or AIDS. We’re going to get him on the show. He’s got a unique take on many popular topics we think are true.
Then we talked about foods that reduce sugar cravings and much much more! This was a fun show and we hope you enjoy it!
