We’ve had an incredibly busy week with lots of fun things going on which we’ll talk about during our next FFAF show! If you’d like to use a Twitter hashtag for this show you can use #FFAF348. 🙂
We had a great time talking about our recent float tank experiences and what they might mean. For those that don’t know float tanks or aka sensory deprivation chambers or isolation tanks are where you lie in about 12 inches of water filled with 800 pounds of magnesium salt and you float in the water.
But here’s the kicker…
You’re completely naked, the water (AND air) are both the exact same temperature as you skin, it’s completely pitch black and all noise is blocked out.
Literally there’s no other environment like it on planet earth or even the universe I guarantee it.
What’s the big deal you ask? Well it’s the first time that your brain and nervous system can be unplugged from all sensory perception in order to function at their highest level. All stress is removed and your body is actually able to heal on a very deep level, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
It’s an unbelievable experience if you’re ready for it in your life…
We also discussed the ability to be nonreactive. Think about the word react. You’re re-acting an action that already exists within you. What act lives inside you? You might ask.
An act (just like a play or performance of some kind) is based on a story or script. Where do these stories or scripts come from? They’re most likely things we’ve witnessed, things we’ve been told or other ideas implanted into our subconscious when we between 0 and 6 years old.
Think about what “sets you off” and ask yourself where that comes from? Better to be responsive than reactive. Let each response be something that comes from you, rather than some old tired script we’ve been handed down from previous unconscious generations in our family line.
It was my birthday on Dec 9th and during the show I think I shared that I would have journeyed 39 revolutions around the sun. Age is nothing it’s all in the mind. We talk about our response to age and how it really affects the psyche of people!
Then we also discussed Kate’s digestion and her playing around with avoiding foods high in sulfur (thiols), estrogen, gluten, grains, dairy, phytates (like nuts), Histamines, and sugar.
We also discussed perhaps why Kate’s teeth are hurting while taking bone broth Bone broth as well as the power of Bach Flower essences on Kate’s mind, body and spirit!
Doesn’t leave much left in the diet to consider does it?
