Dr. Jeff McCombs joined us today. He is the author of LifeForce: A Dynamic Plan for Health, Vitality and Weight Loss.
He’s been working in natural medicine for 30 years and with candida for about 22 years now.
Suffice it to say that he knows what he’s talking about!
What I love about Dr. McCombs is that his approach isn’t carpet bombing candida and getting rid of it. In fact if your body had no candida, there would be nothing that would eat up the millions of dead cells that occur in your body on a daily basis.
Your body needs candida to be one of the clean up crews so you can stay healthy.
People try to get rid of candida or yeast infections naturally. They might have some sort of fungal overgrowth and think they need to rid their body of this systemic infection. In reality the holistic approach looks to bring things more into balance so that you don’t kill something that is there to keep you healthy.
We have this same sort of carpet bombing approach in all of life. We label things a certain way, demonize that label and seek to kill and destroy that thing because we don’t know how it works into the framework of a healthy biome.
Be wary of people that don’t really understand what’s going on with candida, fungus or yeast infections. Dr. McCombs really knows what he’s talking about as you can hear in this podcast interview with him.
