Having been a fan of Mark’s work for many years, we had a great time speaking with him in person. Do you follow any kind of paleo or primal diet?
I was 100% raw vegan for about 7 years and then finally started adding some animal products into my life.

In this show Mark Sisson talks with Kate and I about the benefits of intermittent fasting as well as what he has for breakfast on many days. I think you’ll be pretty shocked at what he consumes for breakfast.
We also talked about the health benefits of doing just the right amount of cardiovascular exercise and specific weight lifting strategies for building muscle for us “hardgainers”. I believe the term he used for us was ectomorphs.
