Today was one of the more fun Free For All Friday sessions we did.
This show was great fun and we had a really inspiring conversation with our friends from the UK who called in. At the time they were in the middle of doing a 14 day juice fast.
We joked about how they’re doing upside down enemas and how they’re taking their health to a new level.
It’s really inspiring to know that there are more and more people interested in preventive care. The real name of the game when it comes to health, longevity and disease is prevention. It’s MUCH easier to live in such a way so as to prevent disease than it is to try to reverse it once it happens.
What people don’t realize is that they’re living a disease lifestyle. We ought to change all disease names from nouns to verbs. We should ask ourselves how did we cancer ourselves today? How did we diabetes ourselves or how did we heart disease ourselves today.
These chronic degenerative diseases are things that we actually do to our bodies day in and day out. If you want to not just prevent disease but take your health to a new level, it’s highly critical we adopt daily practices that are going to combat all of the other things in our lives that are giving us disease.
The heavily processed, non organic GMO food is available everywhere. How do we make sure we don’t consume that? How about cell phones and how the radiation lowers our immune system? How can we mitigate the effects of that? How can we reduce the amount of toxins, molds and chemicals in our lives?
All of these things (especially when combined) put a dramatic burden on our immune system. It’s important to lower our exposures to such substances but also to make sure we’re taking things like zeolite and clay to detox this stuff out of our bodies. I like to rebound each day and sit in our sauna to make sure we’re moving our lymphatic systems and sweating out fat soluble toxins.
