Almighty Google Is Censoring Us!

google-censored

I’d like to share something a little more personal with you. Well it’s not personal but it has to with the “behind the scenes” aspect of everything we’re doing here at Extreme Health Radio.

I realize it’s a strong claim to make that Google is censoring you but this is what appears to be happening.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that trying to help people with natural remedies for health challenges would come to this.

As many of you recall, Kate made a plea asking for your support on Patreon in our newsletter series. The reason why we did this was because of how Google has been censoring our website. On March 27th of this year, they cut our traffic from search terms significantly.

Fortunately it hasn’t affected our listener numbers.

I think we can all agree that the idea of free speech in this country is a thing of the past. We don’t have the right to think or act freely, even though the “powers that were” like to make the illusion that we do.

We are actively polling our listeners and our guests to see if this has been happening to them. It turns out Google has been making some rather huge changes recently and our website has been affected.

One of the things they are implementing is the idea of the Google Knowledge Graph where hundreds of “health conditions” are now being reviewed by a team of medical doctors on their staff for accuracy.

I understand this to some degree because with some aspects of a Knowledge Graph there are very clear answers to *certain* questions like, how tall is Barack Obama? or what color is the sky?.

As far as health is concerned you have to have some sort of baseline. You can’t have websites that are attempting to be legitimate telling people crazy things like eating sand will eradicate cancer.

But where do you draw the line?

The idea of having a team of *medical* doctors presupposes that a medical allopathic approach is not just the only way to heal from whatever might be ailing you, but it also presupposes that medical band aid “cures” are in fact the best way to treat these health conditions.

Now mainstream medically based websites are showing up at the top of health related search queries. Alternative health websites are being devalued, sometimes de-indexed, and their rankings lowered.

Think about it, who is going to research a topic and go to the 3rd or 4th page?

Not many people.

Then recently I found this video…

There’s no shortage of stories about how Google has stripped well meaning solid business from their rankings. But now they’re going after alternative health. Perhaps it has something to do with the CISPA that they tried to roll out a couple of years ago.

Or maybe this is the result of something greater like the Codex Alimentarius as described by Dr. Rima Laibow in the video below.

Heck even America’s favorite doctor (I say that with air quotes), Dr. Oz has been in hot water lately as evident in the video below.

What Does This Mean For You?

First of all it’s important that we don’t live in a free society. We don’t even have legal title (as opposed to equitable title) to our own bodies. So if we don’t have control (the simplest definition of being truly sovereign) over our own bodies, it stands to reason that we wouldn’t have control over other aspects of our life or health either.

With that said, I always like to offer hope to people. Because we live in “the best of times and the worst of times”.

I was especially hopeful after a a former guest of ours emailed me this morning and article written by our friend Mike Adams about a brand new project he’s starting. It’s a search engine that dedicates itself to free speech and alternative health, which I’m really excited about.

I would encourage all of you to use this new search engine and if you listen regularly to any “alternative” health or news related websites, send them your support. Share their links on Faceook or donate to their cause because I can tell you from first hand experience that it’s quite challenging right now to get your message out there when the powers that were desperately want to show favor to corporate funded websites pushing drugs and the same old story we’ve been fed since the propaganda machine won out.

If you like what we’re doing here a small donation $1 to $4 per month is enough to help us continue our work.

Question

If you have an alternative health website, have you noticed a decreasing in traffic or rankings since late May? Comment below and let me know!

  • Karen says:

Wow! In all the research I do on health I have never heard of this Codex before. How bizarre is that? I feel depressed after this. I mean since the Cancer Videos and the shocking realization that the cartels were born even helping Hitler to exterminate people!!!! had opened my eyes even wider to my hate for Big Pharma, GMO’s and Monsanto, etc. I just want to try and live healthy enough that my husband and I can make it through our golden years without becoming sick with cancer, heart disease, diabetes etc. As a previous comment was just stated, it is a scary world we live in knowing we are not free.

  • Bill. says:

I tested some alternative sites on google, this site came up first on the list as did all the other sites, so what is going on then, I personally don`t use Google because I don`t like what they have become, they are getting to big and powerful, I think ixquick & startpage are good. I am looking forward to mike Adams new search engine. I personally use a VPN so I am not tracked.

  • Great article! I’m going to go check out that search engine info now, thanks!

  • Rusti says:

I’ve been boycotting Google since they’re censoring. I’ve gone to IXQuick, which claims the most “private” search engine. So, for anyone’s interest, you can check it out. It is a sad and strange day in America, “land of the free”.

    • Justin says:

I agree. I wish everybody would boycott them. Stay tuned to the new “health” related search engine from Mike Adams (linked to in the article). I hope that takes off. 🙂

  • Garth says:

It’s unfortunate that most people seem to think Google is the only search engine out there. Far from it, and I don’t think it ever was necessarily the best. I and my family have been using ixquick.com which claims to be the most private search engine in the world. So no, we don’t “Google” things. ixquick.com works the same as Google, and I’ve been satisfied with the results. They do not keep any info on who searched for what, so you won’t be labeled a terrorist just because you did a search for “water balloons” or “water guns” for your child’s birthday party! 😀 It is not based in the U.S., and is not under U.S. law; so even if they did keep info on your searches (which they don’t), they would not be under any obligation to hand that info over. If you really did want a Google search, you can use startpage.com, and then Google won’t have the info as to who did the search. Startpage will hide that from them, and they won’t keep the info either. Along the same lines, they have an email service startmail.com now where they don’t keep hidden copies of anything, and you can encrypt everything so even they can’t read it. If you delete something, it’s really totally gone. (I’m not on startmail yet– I just need to figure out adding it to my email client software.)
