I'm just an average ordinary guy who's absolutely fascinated with how things work.
When I was 21 back in 1995 my mom was diagnosed with non hodkins lymphoma given less than a 5% chance of survival. I was only out of high school a couple years trying to make my way in the world and the bottom fell out.
My mom and I were very close. We got along amazing. We were good friends and my world turned upside down. Was my mom going to die? What would my dad do? Can he take care of everything by himself? What about my brother and me? Nobody I knew back then had cancer.
Cancer was the last thing on my mind, as was health for that matter. They say youth is wasted on the young.
