Day #13 - Oil Pulling
Hey my friends!
Today is the 2nd to last day my friend!
If you haven't heard about oil pulling yet, it can change your life.
What is oil pulling?
The basic idea is you put about a tablespoon of oil in your mouth (I use coconut but trationally it's done with seseme) and swish it around for 20 minutes.
This will help draw and pull heavy metals from your body every single day. It's best to do in the morning when you first rise for a new day.
Who shouldn't do oil pulling?
If you have mercury fillings, cavitations (improper removal of teeth by a non biological dentist) or root canals.

Day #12 - Optimizing Sleep
Hello!
How are you holding up for Day #12? We're almost done friends.
Today is all about resetting your circadian rhythms. Our body is designed to work with cycles. Day night. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall and so on.
Getting into a routine is one of the best ways to ensure you get the most powerful and regenerative sleep possible.
Try to stick to a schedule where you're going to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time.
Another aspect is to limit exposure to blue light (all the time but especially before bed) as well as electronic devices.

Instructions: Start what we call sleep restrictive therapy. This means sleeping for 6 hours per night. Go to bed at 10pm and set your alarm and actually get out of bed at 4am. Can you do it? Day #11 - Physical Stimulation
Hey friends!
Today is Day #11. I hope you're following along nicely and implimenting all the challenges into your daily routine!
Today is all about how physical stimulation encourages neuro stimulation and brain function.
It's important to make sure to take care of your brain health. Alzheimer's disease and dementia are on the rise in a big way.
There are simple strategies you can do every day to ensure the stimulation of our brain and nervous system.
One of those is rebounding (jumping up and down on a mini trampoline) or getting a massage or using vibration therapy.
It's time we start doing the deep work of taking care of ourselves.
Invest in you.
You're worth it.

Day #10 - The Water Trick
Hi Again!
The Extreme Health Challenge is almost over. After today there's only 4 days left!
The water trick...
Drinking water first thing upon rising is critical for your health, as is getting grounded and full spectrum sunlight into your eyes.
But for now we're going to talk about making sure you drink 24-30 ounces of warm water right when you wakeup and then do certain exercises to push that water through your system.
This is going to reset your microbiome, flush toxins out of the body, increase circulation, hydrate the mitochondria, increase the electrical charge and signaling capacity of your cells and so much more.
This is huge!

Day #9 - Grounding For Health
Hey friends!
Today is Day #9! How is the challenge going so far for you? I hope great!
Grounding to the earth enables us to push off the electro-static charge that builds up inside our tissues when we're exposed to non native EMF like blue light, wireless signals, cell towers and computer radiation.
All of these things not only dehydrate us at the mitochondrial level but also break down tissue and eventually age us faster than we should.
What's the solution?
Grounding.
That is standing on the earth with bare feet. You can stand on stone, rock, dirt, grass, sand or any surface that conducts electricity. Also when you're outside you're being exposed to fresh air, full spectrum sunlight that heals us and recalibrates our circadian biology, the magnetism of the earth as well as the schuman resonance.
Here's what you have to do for today's task...
Instructions: Go outside and stand on the earth with your bare feet. If you can't do that simply touch a tree with your hand for as along as you can. Take a picture of that and use the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge and show us what you're doing!

Day #8 - Exercises For Your Nervous System
Hello again!
Day #8 we're more than halfway done!!
Walking and sitting.
We need to change how their done. Since we sit for 8 or more hours per day we need to make sure we're doing it right and not injuring our nervous systems in the process.
Most people walk with an incorrect gait.
It's critical we alter and fix the areas of our lives where we spend big blocks of time. Sleeping and working are both perfect examples of this.
We need to correct the way we walk and the way we sit.
Instructions: Get a towel or shirt and roll it up like in the video with Dr. Bergman. Then make sure you roll your head back at least 20 times every hour. Take a picture using the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge to show us your new or old furniture!

Day #7 - Breaking Down Your Limits
Hello Friends!
Today is Day #7 my friends I hope you're enjoying this health challenge!
One of the best ways to alter your nervous system is reconnecting to the desires of your heart. Too often we have followed what "authority figures" and society has told us we need to do with our lives.
How about reconnecting with the 12 year old you who was passionate and excited about life. Remember what that was like? Remember all the hopes, dreams, passions and goals you dreamed about?
Let's start to get the ball rolling and see how we can begin to dream again.
Instructions: Make a list of 100 items for who you want to be, do or become. Before you get started create 4 or 5 categories (which might be finances, travel, skills, relationships, business etc) and then write down every goal in each category until you reach 100. Then go through your entire list and put a 1, 5 or 10 (the numbers are years you want to accomplish them by) next to them. Then pick the top 5 goals in each 3 categories (1,5,10) and then make a vision board around them. Day #6 - Breaking Down Emotional Barriers
Hello again!
We're humming right along for day #6 of this challenge. How are you going so far?
Did you know that the majority of sickness and disease is caused by a spiritual or emotional trauma? If you look into methodologies like Recall Healing, Gestalt Therapy, The DiMartini Method, Family Constellation Therapy and others, they all tell us that the body is always healing and the root cause of sickness is usually embedded in spiritual emotional issues.
This is why it's critical to have a spiritual practice and a personal development mindset. We need to learn how to let go and dissolve attachements. We need to learn how to forgive, not just others bur ouselves to.
Instructions: Write down 4 traits of a person who has wronged you in some way that drive you crazy. Then write down how those traits negatively affected you. Then after that write down the last time you demonstrated those same traits.

Day #5 - Stimulating Your Mind
Hey friends!
Perfect health doesn't just revolve around the food we eat. We must also make sure to control EVERYTHING that comes into our being.
That means we must resist watching, reading or being in the company of negativity, fear or demotivating content. We must look at the news, fear or bad company like eating fast food.
One side of the coin is not allowing disempowering content in any form into our being. You get to decide what that entails for you. This is equivalent to not eating fast food.
On the other side of the coin, we need to add in materials (magazines, books, videos, movies, music etc) that lift our spirits.
Instructions: Pick one thing in your life that disempowers you and eliminate it forever. Pick one thing in your life that empowers you and consume it.

Day #4 - Changing Your Routines
Hey again!
Okay today is Day #4 how are you holding up?
Partaking in new activities stimulates not just your mind but your entire nervous system. Stagnation = death. Complacency and lack of movement are the precursors of sickness and disease.
Think of a stream that becomes stagnant. Think of a tree that's close to dying. It's stiff, brittle and doesn't move.
We as humans get into ruts. We get lulled into a life free of emotion that's full of comfort. We become slaves to these ruts because we don't have to think or grow. Eventually the ruts become so deep that we can no longer see over the edges, we can only see forward or backwards.
Ruts are what eventually lead us to death.
This is why your nervous system needs constant stimulation. Our nervous system is like a dog, it likes to have projects, it likes to work
This is why it's important to carry out tasks each day that actually make the brain work. This could be anything from taking a different route home from work, or eating with your opposite hand or trying a new type of food.
Make it a daily task to try new things. Talk to new people and force your brain to work. Your nervous system strives on the correct type of daily stimulation.
Instructions: Find something easy you can do today that will make your brain work. Change up your routine, brush your teeth with the opposite hand. Try SOMETHING new. Use the hashtag #ExtremeHealthChallenge to show us how you're doing it!

Day #3 - Prayer & Meditation For Health!

Day #3 - Meditation. Are you in?
Meditation and quieting your mind has tremendous benefits to your nervous system. Recognizing that you are not your thoughts, you are not your emotions and you are not evening your past experiences or your opinions, but you are the thinker and experiencer of those things, is a complete game changer.
We are truly a spiritual being having a physical experience.
Anger, jealousy, fear, worry and depression all put a tremendous amount of stress on your entire nervous system.
Meditation is how we overcome those emotions. It has been said that the cause of all suffering is attachment.
When we meditate we learn to detach, to let go and to fully experience who we *really* are.

Regular daily walking has been found to trigger an anti-aging process and help repair old DNA
Those who engaged in daily moderate exercise, such as a brisk walk, experienced anti-aging benefits that could add an additional three to seven years to your life
The researchers recommended a 20-minute daily walk to reap these benefits, but striving to walk 10,000 steps a day is a better goal
Walking is an essential movement that we all require, ideally in addition to a regular exercise program

Today is Day #1 are you ready to improve your health in 14 days?
Nutrients are critical for our brain, eyes and ultimately our nervous system health. The main nutrients I want you to consider are Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin C and a liquid plant based mineral source.
Also I want you to consider taking in more healthy fats into your diet like...
Avocados
Coconuts
Nuts and seeds (and their butters)
Egg yolks

Introduction To The Challenge!
Welcome to the March 2018 14 day Extreme Health Challenge! This health challenge is going to focused on improving the health and vitality of our nervous system.
Each day will consist of a specific task you must complete (and share with your friends on social media) in order to gain more entries for this challenge.
We hope you enjoy and radically improve your health in the process!
Hi guys! We're so excited to be creating these monthly health challenges for all of you (and for us) so we can all get healthy together as a group....and win prizes as well!! Who doesn't love that? :) This is the first time we've ever done anything like this and as with most things "tech related" there can be issues. We're working hard on resolving all these issues so the monthly challenges will only get better and better as we go through 2018 together.

How The Challenge Works!
- Each month there will be a brand new challenge lasting anywhere from 7 to 21 days in length with prizes to win!
- Every day of the challenge there will be a new video posted at the top of the page (approx 9:00 pm Pacific, 12:00am Eastern) while the previous days' videos and instructions will be displayed below until the challenge is over. Once the challenge is over, they will be removed and added the the Extreme Health Academy for members to be able to go through any challenge they wish whenever they want with the full support of others in the community.
- At the end of the challenge we'll be doing a live webinar with Dr. Bergman, Kate and myself (Justin) where you will be able to ask questions and at the end of the webinar we will reveal who the winners for that month are!

I Can't Upload A Photo!
