Mark’s Daily Apple

I discovered Mark Sisson from Underground Wellness and I immediately connected to what he had to say. From reading his posts and listening to him in interviews, I find him highly knowledgeable in all things nutrition.

He often posts about really interesting topics on a daily basis. I don’t believe he’s missed a day in years. His blog is absolutely huge and he’s also the author of The Primal Blueprint which I suggest you read.

In my opinion he’s got the nutrition game totally wired. As a former runner he’s now into primal living. He writes about recreating a living situation based on his belief systems about diet, nutrition and ancient living.

I feel like he and Laird Hamilton are brothers from another mother. 😉

I strongly encourage you to follow this guy. In my opinion he is the leader in the paleo and primal diet field. He’s got an amazing forum that you should definitely checkout once you get to his site.

Steve Pavlina

Steve’s blog has some really great motivational information on it. I’ve been reading it for years. Although I don’t agree with all of the information on his site, I often find lots of informative helpful articles there to read.

Check it out when you have a moment.

My favorite post is 10 Reasons You Should Never Get A Job.

His tag line is “Personal Development For Smart People.”

If that is intriguing to you, by all means check it out.

Podcast Answer Man

Cliff Ravenscraft aka “The Podcast Answer Man” has tons of free content. I had the idea for starting this health related radio show for quite some time and I kept searching Google to find some good information about what kind of equipment I should buy, where to buy it and basically how to put together a high quality radio show.

If you’re interested in starting an online radio show, there’s not better go to guy than Cliff Ravenscraft.

Underground Wellness

I’ve been following Sean Croxton over at Underground Wellness for quite some time now. You can tell he’s passionate about health and in my opinion offers great information.

He’s written an ebook called The Dark Side of Fat Loss which you can get on his site. He got his bachelor’s in Kinesiology (emph: fitness, nutrition, and health) from San Diego State University in 2001.

He understands the role that hormones play, how critical beneficial bacteria is in the gut, the importance of cleansing and detoxification and is really into whole food nutrition. I really like supporting his work and really like what he has going on over there.

Philip McCluskey

Watching Philip’s career take off has been pretty impressive. This is a guy who had a pretty successful career prior to teaching about nutrition and holistic living. I got into raw and living foods at about the same time as Philip did, 2003. He’s done 70 and 90 day juice fasts (drinking only fresh raw juices) and he’s lost over 200 pounds following a mostly raw food diet.

Philip offers inspirational advice, ebooks and complete courses on how to make the transition to a healthier lifestyle. I subscribe to his RSS feed and read his posts when they come out.

Anthony Anderson

Just like Philip, I’ve been right on the same track as Anthony Anderson. I remember reading his blog back when he started it when he was a very strict raw vegan like I was. He’s since adopted some high quality raw animal foods into his diet and offers recipes, support and inspiration on his blog.

It’s great to see the transformation he had gone through over the years. I’ve had the opportunity to email him during this time and he’s always been an upstanding guy to communicate with.

If you’re into planting trees and growing super mineralized food, then he’s your guy. He’s always posting about gardening and how to grow the highest quality food forests in your own backyard.

I think you’ll like what he has to say.

He’s got a new project called Grow Paradise which I suggest you checkout and send him a donation too. Every little bit helps!

Dr. David Jubb

Dr. David Jubb is a life food advocate, an author, a microscopist and a blood formation specialist. I have listened to many hours of David Jubb on www.thebestdayever.com as well as on many other podcasts.

He talks alot about the importance of the liver and liver gallbladder cleansing. He’s a really fiery guy from Tasmania Australia. Being half Australian myself (minus the accent) I really liked him from the beginning.

The main thing he talks about is how humans are meant to eat what’s called “life food.” These are all foods that emanate from a botanical flower. This means broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, zucchinis and more.

I have yet to read his books, Secrets of an Alkaline Body or Jubb’s Cell Rejuvenation but they sound fascinating.

Chris Kresser

Chris Kresser is a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of integrative medicine. If you’re into dogmatism, he’s not the guy you want to see. He’s very practical, open minded about diet and open to explore lots of styles of eating.

He has a podcast that I really enjoy as well as many different ebooks and courses related to health and diet.

His blog posts are definitely what I would consider to be “authority” in style. He knows what he’s talking about and offers really great information.

I enjoy reading his posts whenever they come out.

I also really enjoy his podcasts and radio shows as well. I’ve learned alot from them over the years.

Please go check him out today and join his community!

Kristen’s Raw

Kristen Suzzane has been into raw and living foods for quite some time. She posts really great information like product reviews, recipes, cleansing information as well as inspirational info about how to improve your health in many different areas of your life.

I strongly suggest you subscribe to her RSS feed or follow her on facebook and twitter.

She seems truly genuine and is highly motivating. Along with her blog posts, recipe ebooks she also posts a ton of “how to” videos and you really feel like you’re a guest in her home.

Danny Roddy

What I like about Danny Roddy is that he’s tried and experimented with just about every eating style out there. Raw vegan, vegetarianism, paleo, primal and everything in between.

He seems like a really genuine and down to earth guy. His latest posts have been about hormones based on the work of Dr. Ray Peat. As you can imagine, hormones are the master switches for health, healing and longevity. Hormones affect your libido, your internal fire (aka drive & motivation), strength & muscle gains, hair loss, fertility, energy and more.

Hormones are critical for health and thriving in today’s world.

Renegade Health

Renegade Health was founded by Kevin and Annemarie Gianni. They’re big advocates of organic, whole, fresh, ripe & raw foods. I’ve been reading their blogs, listening to their interviews and watching their videos for many years now.

They’re extremely passionate about helping educate and motivate people to live a better life by using diet as the catalyst.

Annmarrie has her own skin care line consisting of all natural chemical free organic skin products. I highly suggest you check these guys out!

We Like It Raw

I found We Like It Raw many years ago when it first was founded. I enjoyed reading the posts they have there. It was started by Dhrumil Purohit who now also is running a company called the Clean Program which I really think you should check out.

He’s been an advocate of healthy and clean living for many years and if that’s something your’e into, then you should definitely check him out.

Daniel Vitalis

When I first heard Daniel Vitalis interviewed on We Like It Raw I immediately resonated with his message. His work now is about deep nutrition, cleansing, and rewilding our bodies.

I like the fact that he’s never attached to any dogma about nutrition or diet. He’s very open minded and has a way of explaining things very succinctly.

He has a product line at Surthrival built on the idea of offering the highest quality products that support our endocrine systems & hormones. As a culture we’ve been bombarded with phyto estrogens and xeno estrogens which have caused fertility rates to decline and cancers to rise.

His products are here to support our hormonal systems at a deep cellular level. Look him up on youtube for more information.

He’s also build a website called Find A Spring that you should also check out.

The Best Day Ever

David Wolfe started The Best Day Ever with Len Foley back in 2002 I think. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from David Wolfe over the years. He’s a raw food vegan who is incredibly inspirational and offers tons of excellent information on subjects like, water, vortex energy, raw and living foods, longevity, cleansing, mushrooms, superfoods and more.

If you want some cutting edge information that is sure to change your life and take your health to another level, you should check out what they have going on over at The Best Day Ever.

Kombucha Kamp

I always wanted to learn how to make kombucha ever since I first learned of this special concoction back in 2005. It sounded complicated and hard to do. I didn’t know much about fermented foods at the time and figured I would get to it someday.

At the end of 2010 I set a goal for 2011 and that was to learn how to make sauerkraut, kefir and kombucha. After doing some research I found Hannah Crum who’s known as The Kombucha Mamma.

She teaches classes, posts videos and even has an entire forum devoted to spreading the message about the incredible health benefits of this fermented drink.

She’s the kombucha guru in my opinion and I highly recommend her blogs and websites!
